Websites
David Meissner has conceptualized, developed, and organized content for numerous websites. He uses Weebly to build websites for small businesses, nonprofits, and freelancers and collaborates with programmers and designers on larger projects. Below are two examples of his work.

David conceptualized, named, and created initial content for ¡Colorín Colorado! , a bilingual website that addresses the needs of English language learners. In addition to promoting effective teaching methods, David envisioned it as a vehicle for greater understanding and collaboration between families, schools, and libraries.
In 2004, the American Federation of Teachers co-sponsored the site, which funded further development and promoted it as a valuable resource for educators.
Today ¡Colorín Colorado! is a well-known website that generates hundreds of thousands of page views from parents, teachers, administrators, and policymakers across the U.S. and Latin America. Partnerships with the American Federation of Teachers’ Innovation Fund, Carnegie Corporation, and National Education Association have led to new content on research, policy, and best practices.

Motivated by his aunt's courageous struggle with ALS, David partnered ALS experts to create a trusted online guide for families affected by Lou Gehrig's disease.
Your ALS Guide launched in August 2017. It aims to "provide trusted information, connect you to helpful resources, expand your support network, help you understand your health insurance options, save you money on equipment, and hopefully make life with ALS a little easier."
David and Kim Hughes, the former Director of Care Services for the ALS Association Arizona Chapter, have designed the site to guide families through their journey, connect them with resources, and ideally lead to an improved quality of life.
In addition to writing the content, David has immersed himself in Colorado's startup community, taken classes and workshops, and developed the necessary skills to build, design, test, and launch the site.
